05/10 - Need pine need bales? I've been using "Residential Pine Needles" for years with great prices. They have been in business for some 20 years. A little tardy on delivery (so order in advance), but the price is quite competitive: $4.35 per bale and a $10 delivery fee. I normally order about 30-40 bales every 6 months. They will also spread the pine needles for $1 extra per bale.

We are highly recommending Kevin Kilmer's painting company Home Sweet Home Painting. Kevin's men were painting another house down the street when we stopped to talk with the home owner. The home owner had researched the company after noticing what a great job they did with two other homes they painted in the same area. We obtained a free estimate from Kevin and decided to have them paint our house in August 2007. They power washed the house and did all the necessary prep work, calking and priming. He used top quality long lasting calk and used an oil based primer on trim work to keep the wood from rotting. They also used top quality Sherwin Williams paint. Kevin did not require a deposit and did not collect the money until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The paint job is excellent but the most impressive part was the carpentry. Our front porch was rotted in addition to all of the trim work around the large window in front of the home. The carpenters located and repaired the problem and replaced all of the trim work. He was reliable in his communications, responded to calls promptly had fair and reasonable fees. We chose him because is an independent contractor and craftsman and he does the work himself, along with his partner Jed. We knew that the person we made arrangements with would be on site and accessible to us each day. / Michael and Jed initially inspected the wood and exterior of the house prior to painting. They made repairs to woodwork and carpentry themselves. I liked that we were dealing with the same 2 people throughout the preliminary work as well as through the painting process. We didn't have a lot of different people coming to work here ... we had the same 2 faces each day and that was reassuring! Michael made many very helpful suggestions about colors and added features that would enhance the appearance and value of our home. His many years of experience shone through here and we very much appreciated his knowledge and suggestions. 07/02 - Mr. Stanley did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house (July 2002) which included replacing all rotten wood trim and siding. He painted three houses on Jarden Court (June & July 2002) and all three of us are very satisfied with his work. Mr. Michael Stanley used 25 year warranty paint and caulk. He did not require ANY deposit and would not collect his money until I was completely satisfied with the paint job (he corrected all minor deficiencies I found).
